I can’t believe I am racing tomorrow. I barely managed to unpack from Zoot camp in San Diego (which was SO much fun and I will write about it soon) and found myself packing again for my race tomorrow. Fortunately, it is a small local race (and a duathlon) so I don’t need a lot of stuff but you would never know by the time it took me to pack. The first race of the season is tough but a good chance to work the kinks out. My outdoor rides this year include one 10min spin which was done today. Yep, I can still steer my bike! Next up was prepping my race shoes with speed laces. Now if only I can remember how to transition… Weather forecast tomorrow = 45degrees, rain, thundershowers. Hmmm…. not encouraging conditions but it’s time to get racing. I am excited to test out the legs. Now it’s time for bed. Hopefully I’ll be able to sleep and not be worrying all night about what I forgot to pack.
